Seminar on marine litter

On June 6 at 11 am, in the Conference Room at the Institute of Marine Sciences in Venice (ISMAR) Dr François Galgani (IFREMER, France) will give a talk entitled “Macro and micro litter within the MSFD. Scientific and technical basis for monitoring”.
The talk will be followed by a short GHOST session where the coordinator will present the ongoing activities of the project. In particular, some recent video footage/photographs taken on some Tegnùe located in the study area will be shown, highlighting the presence of abandoned fishing  nets/gear. The documentation has been produced by specialized divers of the State Police involved in the mapping activity in the framework of the project.
